“We have now been living at “My Home on the River” for just over two years, We have never looked back and are so glad we chose to buy here as opposed to some of the larger developments which consisted of blocks ranging upwards of 350m2 plus and up to eight neighbours.

At first we were hesitant to go out as far as Logan Village, however, now it is more about the lifestyle and getting home to enjoy the surroundings.  It is a constant saying “how is serenity” a bit like the movie “The Castle” We find the travel to our respective work is normally between 20-25mins (Loganholme & Stapylton) Our daughter attends Canterbury College which is only 7 mins away.  Alternatively if I have to go into Brisbane City or Southport it could be up to 40mins which is really insignificant when we weigh up the lifestyle.

There is a unique feel to the estate where we have room to move without being on top of one another.  That of a little community within, or a little country estate where there is always a wave or a chat to be had everyday.  The beauty of watching the kangaroos jump past early in the morning, frog mouth owl joining us for an evening chat, fishing down the river and the ability for the children to be children and enjoy the surroundings.  I do realize we are spoilt at the moment however with the planned parks, walkways and the river below, this will only improve the estate.  The caliber of home owners and houses continues to impress those that come to visit.  On Sundays we feel like it is a display centre as we have many cars driving in and a large number of those people asking us about the estate. 

Admittedly we are hesitant about further development however that is because we have been spoilt for the past two years.  The reality is that with continued development we will have the recreation areas and access direct to the Village which will only improve on the lifestyle that we love!” Sonia, Steve & Tianna
