To Whom it May Concern,

We have just sold our home at 29 Aragon Street, Beenleigh

Having bought our home through PRDnationwide Beenleigh, we called them to come see us and list our home.

Geoff Kerkow spoke to us about various ways to sell, mainly, with or without a price.

Without a price means Auction, we were not in favour of this but Geoff explained the benefits to us and we decided to go with his advice.  We are now glad we did.

The marketing went well with over 20 groups inspecting our home and approximately 40 people attended the Auction.

In spite of the excellent and good attendance no one bid for our home. 

Geoff explained to us that this might happen and that if it did, it would sell soon after the auction.  It did!!

By Sunday afternoon, we had offers from four different parties and negotiations were underway.

We had a contract in place by Wednesday.

Firstly we recommend Geoff and his team to be your real estate agent.  Also if you have a reluctance to market for auction, let them explain the process to you, they know what they are talking about.

Impressed, very impressed! 

Those are the best words to describe how Helen and I feel about the way PRDnationwide Beenleigh team handled the recent sale of our property at Yatala.

We first chose you and your team as our Exclusive Marketing Agents because we have known you in a casual way for many years, and you have an excellent reputation.  After meeting the assigned sales reps Jeff Mikulic and Mike Redmond, there was no need for us to interview any other agents.

Of course, we were aware of all the common complaints about real estate agents – not fulfilling their promises, not keeping in touch, lack of professional advertising and marketing.  Your team promised to do better, and they did – every step of the way.  You Jeff and Mike did EVERYTHING you said you would do, kept us fully informed and up to date, arrived punctually for meetings, and took notice of our requests and suggestions.  Yours teams approach was professional and competent at all times.

We were also aware of the common Agents’ strategy of indicating higher than achievable price in order to get the listing, and then almost immediately commencing the Jenman strategy of trying to get the vendor to lower the price.  None of that with your team.  Jeff and Mike indicated at the initial appraisal that they brought the property should sell for about $530,000.  We had $500,000 in mind, so we agreed on $530,000 as the “target price” Then amazingly, when you had two genuine offers on the table at $530,000 each you said: “Don’t accept either”

Your advice at the outset was that the property in question was “special”, and should therefore best be auctioned.  When the day of the auction came around, your team had seven bidders registered.  You as Auctioneer, did and outstanding job of keeping the bidding going, even though it stalled on several occasions – the first at $440,000, frankly we were amazed when you got it up to $560,000.

Congratulations to all concerned on a job well and professionally done.  And thank you – it was a real pleasure to work with you all.

Recently we have been dealing with Melissa, Erin and Kate in relation to a couple of rental properties.
